Nancy Maia of Bay Shore has a Bachelor of Science in Education from SUNY Cortland. She has been doing photography since the age of 8. Her motto is, "have camera, will travel."  She has been a member of the Bell Street Artists since 1993.

      Nancy has won various photography awards, including competitions at the National Marine Education Association and the Riverhead Library. She is inspired by Ansel Adams and her mentors the late John Mathies and the late Richard Barfield.

      Nancy believes that the Bell Street Artists provide a warm, supportive, and energetic environment.
